I'm far from an expert on Franklin halves but understand that beautifully toned specimens are in strong demand based on the pricing premiums. This example exhibits a host of pleasing colors from pristine surfaces. The frosty luster is all there. I'm liking this offering a lot with a JUST BUY IT NOW recommendation being warranted. Gem $150 Rainbow Toned Obverse, Gem Original, Bart Chapman Collection.. Bart's passion for beautifully toned silver coinage also extended into the 20th century. This Franklin half perfectly fits into his collection due to the natural rose-gold toning that transitions to greens and gold at the upper obverse. Luster is frosted brilliant which further enhanced the bright light viewing experience. This is a lot of coin at a reasonable opening reserve. Housed in newer NGC holder with edge view insert and CAC approval.
