The 1856-S Seated Liberty quarter date is unquestionably scarce in the upper circulated grades while Mint State examples are rare. This western frontier survivor displays bold device details and minimum wear. Angled lighting exposes residual steely luster in the fields. Original, mottled olive-gold toning covers each side.
