Choice $725 New April 4! Choice Original, New Jersey Collection.. Partially mirrored surfaces reveal light gold color throughout. Strike is typical, with a few soft stars. Faint obverse hairlines are evident under a glass, but the surfaces are smooth and otherwise mark-free for the grade. Following demonetization of Trade dollars in 1876, these pieces circulated at a discount, as falling silver prices reduced the bullion value of the coin to less than the face value.
